Speaker 1: Eugene Tay from Green Future Solutions
We didn’t have a plan… and then it happened
Eugene is speaking on 3 trends that could shape or affect us in the coming years – Sharing Economy, Climate Chaos, and Strategic Urbanism.
Speaker 2: Bhavani Prakash from Green Collar Asia
Redefining narratives for a sustainable future
What are the positive and negative trends that are going to impact society and the environment in the near and long term future? What are the narratives that are defining these trends and what can we do to change these for a future that is sustainable for all? Covering a range of topics – from the way we manufacture and consume products and services, use data and social networks, there are pointers to how we can change the way we create change. Join Bhavani for the talk to discover how we have more power than we think to reshape our collective futures where we are, with what we have, and with whom we choose to be.
Bakeoff 2013 for Three Legs Good
BakeOff is a collective idea that marries charity with good food. First held in Sydney 2011, this year will be the third gathering in Singapore where people come together to enjoy yummy bakes for a charitable cause.
How does the BakeOff work?
Participating bakers provide freshly made and packaged bakes during the event, during which visitors are able to enjoy them using a redemption voucher that is given upon a $20 donation at the entrance. This year, we have 30 bakers, as well as local illustrators, who will showcase and sell their artworks.
Some of the bakers include Niji Bakes, justBakeSG, and Doggiestyle Cafe, while many of local illustrators hail from the Organisation of Illustrators Council Singapore (OIC Singapore). The baked goods range from the usual suspects of cakes and macarons to savoury tarts and shepherd’s pies.
All proceeds goes to our adopted charity – Three Legs Good.
Leave us a message and we’ll get back to you within 3 days.
